The principal and professors of Delhi University's Bharati College paid a student's admission fee after she told them she was unable to afford it. The student, seeking admission in BA (Hons) Journalism, had cleared the entrance exam and interview. She couldn't pay the fees as her mother didn't earn enough as a vegetable seller and her father had passed away.
